Performance RAUMBEZUG

RAUMBEZUG is a cross-disciplinary performance project - localized in public and digital space.
As performers, Anna Dahinden and Noah Punkt confront themselves with different contexts and embark on a search for a common language between music, movement and situational conditions. They play with the boundary between the everyday and the performative; everyday realities have performative character, the performative has everyday potential.
The performance takes place in the context of the Löwenbräukunst Jingle Mingle.
Date: Saturday, 26 November 2022, 4 .30 – 5.30 pm
Location: Löwenbräukunst (various stations)
No registration required
About the artists:
Anna Dahinden (Zürich/Zug, 1993) first studied fine arts (in Sierre, 2012) and cultural anthropology (BA in Basel, 2015 and MA in Berlin, 2020). From 2018-2021, Anna trained at the Iyengar Yoga Institute Berlin to become a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher.
During her studies she became more and more interested in physical expression and thus focused on dance performance art, with her expression inspired by Japanese Butoh, the Indian martial art Kalaripayattu and the precise space-body awareness of Iyengar Yoga. An interdisciplinary performer with a background in cultural anthropology, Anna collaborates internationally with arts practitioners in dance, music & architecture.
Noah Punkt (geb. 1984 als Tom Zackl) is a Zurich-based double bassist and performer. He studied musicology at the University of Leipzig and jazz at the HfM Weimar.
His creative focus is on improvised music and jazz. Primarily in smaller ensembles, he explores the openness, intimacy, and flexibility of reduced instrumentation. In addition to his purely musical work, he is also active in performance art, performing with the music-theatrical project Weichplast, and with Caroline Beach he conceived and performed the piece "Two Hands in the Sun" (premiere 2018, Festspielhaus Hellerau).
