Unfolding through a conversation between artist Shamiran Istifan and curator Yasmin Naderi Afschar, this guided tour invites the visitors to discover newly produced works in the exhibition She-Devils on Wheels Angels on Heels.

The talk explores the ideas, questions and interests that shape Istifan’s artistic practice, as well as the initial spark behind Hunted: The White Shrine, a video work that connects newly created artworks in the exhibition. Istifan will share insight into her creative process, from research and the development of concept to the making of the works.
Taking the exhibited works as a starting point, the conversation will also explore the narratives and thematic frameworks in the exhibition, including identity, shapeshifting, and transformation, in particular through the central figure of Irma Vep – an iconic character of early cinema which recurs throughout Shamiran Istifan's newly created works.
Visitors are warmly invited to join the conversation, ask questions, and share their thoughts and perspectives.
