Workshop: «WIN-WIN FOR LIFE» with Stirnimann-Stojanovic
Venue: Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst 1. Floor
On the occasion of Open House 2025 at Löwenbräukunst, the artist duo Stirnimann-Stojanovic invites you to a walk-in event: visitors can participate in an interactive activation of the artwork «Win-Win For Life (Edition 3) » (2025) in direct dialogue with the duo. The processual work is constantly evolving and is currently part of the exhibition Accumulation.
At the centre of it is a game: 100 «Win For Life» scratch cards will be given away. Each ticket offers the chance to win a jackpot of CHF 4,000 per month - for 20 years. But before the ticket is opened, let's hold our breath together: what if you had won? What dreams and new opportunities would open up?
And what if the ticket didn't win? Not a loss - but a gain for art! Lost tickets will be integrated as material in Stirnimann-Stojanovic's exhibition at the Migros Museum.
In addition to taking part in the game, there will be an opportunity to talk to the artists about their artistic practice, the exhibited work and their commitment to fairer working conditions in the art world.
Stirnimann-Stojanovic (Nathalie Stirnimann, *1990, Fribourg, Switerland and Stefan Stojanovic, *1993, Vranje, Serbia; live in Zurich) have been active as an artist duo since 2015, and both graduated in 2020 with Master’s degrees in Fine Arts from the Zurich University of the Arts. Their concepts are manifested and materialized through situations, performances, words, and objects. Central themes in their practice include the social and structural issues of the art system as seen from the perspective of emerging artists. Through transdisciplinary and collective approaches that explore the boundaries between art, activism, and society, Stirnimann-Stojanovic aim to probe and challenge the reality of the art field, thereby thematize and demand for fairer and more sustainable working conditions.
