Season Opening: Performance – Supercollider
Time: 7 – 7.30 pm
Location: Event room Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst, (ground floor)
Supercollider is the combination and antagonism of sound and image.
Mutually attracting, repelling, colliding, dissolving down to the individual sound and pixel. Supercollider perform a multimedia show in the context of the Season Opening at Löwenbräukunst. Sound and image gravitate and collide. Each session of Supercollider is unique and based on improvisation. Supercollider play in a construct of rods and fabrics, which they use as the basis for their set and also stage it in multimedia.
Mathias Hauser (05.12.1988) is a passionate musician and artist who loves to experiment with sounds and push boundaries. With his clear visions and experience, he succeeds in supporting the auditory framework of Supercollider in order to create soundscapes that are as unbiased as possible and to bring them to the outside world.
Reduction is the greatest art and yet everything is possible, according to Mathias Hauser's conviction.
Andi Hofmann (10.07.1977) describes himself as an image-loving dreamer and aesthetic explorer. He developed his passion for film in the midst of the digital image revolution. Andi Hoffmann is an all-rounder in the field of film and obsessed with enchanted visual worlds. He also loves to dissolve existing image structures, interweave them anew and revive them. In doing so, he processes and alienates handmade footage with modern and long-forgotten possibilities.
