Finissage: Artist Talk and Closing Performance with Fabian Saul

Performance January 18, 2026 04:30 pm – 06:00 pm

Venue: In the exhibition

To mark the closing of Fabian Saul's exhibition ‘This is How the Light Remembers’, the Migros Museum invites you to an evening combining discussion, reflection and sound performance for a joint finale.

The evening begins at 4.30 p.m. with an artist talk between Fabian Saul and curator Tasnim Baghdadi. In dialogue, they will trace the lines that have carried the exhibition, open up its background and resonance spaces, and at the same time look at what remains of its lasting impact – a conversation that reflects on the exhibition period and translates it into new considerations.

After a short break, a closing performance will follow at 5.30 p.m., in which Fabian Saul will unfold his sound work developed for the exhibition live. This sonic gesture is also intended as a moment of farewell – a moment of contemplation between presence and ephemerality. The performance makes the work physically and emotionally tangible on a further level.

The audience is invited to witness this special moment of transition – a final resonance chamber in which the exhibition opens once more before reverberating as a space for remembrance.
