How can you create a "language" for movement? Are there different types of movement languages? What do we focus on when observing bodies in motion, and what does noting down movement enable us to do? Dancer Noa Eshkol has also asked herself these questions. Together with Avraham Wachman she developed the "Eshkol-Wachman movement notation," a system that enables us to precisely analyze and graphically note down a body's movements.

Mor Bashan invites children to take a playful look at this idea in a workshop in which they will translate their own sequences of movements into a language and then recreate them from their own notes. In order to experience the significance of Eshkol's work, short elements from the original Eshkol choreographies will also be performed together without music, the rhythm given only by the steady ticking of a metronome.
