Drag Performance with The Heart Throb Mob

Time: 8.30 pm
Location: Löwenbräukunst staircase, ground floor

The Heart Throb Mob is a drag-king/quing collective founded in Zurich in 2021. Its members turn traditional gender roles upside down with their performances and drag workshops. The collective performs at queer party series and for artistic performances but also at demonstrations and in the media.

Justin Bellini Case and Tallboy – two members of the Heart Throb Mob – are pleased to accompany the opening on October 06. Through their performance, they will emphasize that drag is a unique art form that simultaneously unleashes personal and political power. Against the backdrop of increasing transphobia and fear-mongering around drag shows, the very existence of this art form is an act of rebellion and at the same time a kind of caring for the queer community.
