Zurich's Long Night of Museums
The Empty Museum – Resonance, Sculpture, and Dance
For the Long Night, our museum is exceptionally empty! We are in the process of preparing for the upcoming exhibition and are taking this unique opportunity to bring the empty exhibition space on the ground floor to life with exciting activities: from an interactive dance workshop to relaxing sound bath sessions, and collaborative paper sculpture creation in the space. Stop by – we look forward to seeing you!

Join dancer and choreographer Marine Besnard for a unique movement exploration in the heart of an empty museum. Participants are invited to experience their bodies as living sculptures within the surrounding space. The session begins with tuning into our own bodies—sensing them as unique vessels and discovering movements that arise from within. From there, we’ll create shapes, spirals and lines, composing a living work of art in the museum's empty space. No prior dance experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to move!
