Artist Conversation with Nicole L’Huillier and Nina Emge – on Listening
Venue: Exhibition
On the occasion of her exhibition Canción de Amor, Nicole L’Huillier invites artist Nina Emge to join her in conversation. The conversation will be moderated by curator of the exhibition Yasmin Naderi Afschar.
Connected through a longstanding artistic exchange and friendship, the two artists will reflect on their shared interests in sound, listening, resonance and collective forms of experience. The conversation will explore their artistic practice, focusing on questions of vibration, embodiment, technology and alternative forms of sensing and connection.
Through a dialogue between two artists whose practices engage deeply with sound and listening, the conversation will consider how artistic processes can expand our understanding of environments, relationships and forms of communication. Together, L’Huillier and Emge will discuss the ways in which artistic works can create spaces for encounter, resonance and transformation.
