Think Black Forest Voodoo!

(in German) Drawing on Geoffrey Farmer's most recent work "Let's Make the Water Turn Black", Jan Verwoert will address the spirit of material animism and the practice of speaking through masks in Farmer's work. Verwoert, art critic and self-declared "theorist of practice," is a writer for international art magazines, and lecturer at the Piet Zwart Institute, Rotterdam, as well as the De Appel Curatorial Programme, Amsterdam.
