Letter Performance
Lina Zeller's performance will take place at the opening of the exhibition Stretching thresholds, holding streams. In addition, the artist will narratively and performatively accompany the project with her practice over the next few months.
With a background in dance, Lina Zeller is an artist fascinated by the elements of choreographic making and how its concepts can be expanded, dissolved and reorganised. As a dance practitioner with extensive teaching experience in higher education, Lina develops ideas related to the body, movement and studies dealing with choreographic composition through a transdisciplinary approach. She is currently focusing her practice on investigating the creative processes of other practitioners through choreographic ideas via handwritten letters. (“Could a letter lead to choreography?”, she tought). As well as having fun making choreographic letters, she is also interested in the ways in which knowledge is shared, either in educational and/or artistic environments. ("How do we share knowledge?" is a question that intrigues her). Lina lives in Zürich, just in front of a nice green forest.
