DJ Set with Yamuna

Venue: Rampe

Born and raised in Zurich with Jamaican roots, Yamuna has always been driven by the powerful rhythms of dancehall, reggae and Afrofusion. What began as a personal passion quickly developed into a creative project with a global vision:

With @black.pancakes, she founded a platform that makes independent BIPoC artists visible – a music blog that not only shares sounds, but also stories, perspectives and community.

Today, Yamuna not only stands for finely curated playlists, but also for energetic DJ sets that reflect her cultural influences and love of diversity. With each of her selections, she connects the past, present and future – and shows that music is far more than just sound: it is a feeling, a movement, a common language.

At Zurich Art Weekend 2025, Yamuna brings her world of sound to the ramp at Löwenbräukunst – surprising, multi-layered, full of emotion.
