Interventions on frequency: DJ Set by Sicc Puppy

For the first iteration of the performance series Interventions on frequency, the Zurich-based sound artist and producer Sicc Puppy will present a DJ set in the wake of Löwenbräukunst.

Sicc Puppy is a 27-year-old multidisciplinary artist and producer hailing from the Texas-Mexico border. Her sound is a cracking open of the unpleasant and negative to reveal its disruptive, transformative, chaotic, cathartic potential. All in the hopes that it can bring people a little closer to the spaces that exist in-between: to the variable, unpredictable, and poignant places of our own embodied particularities. Her Dj sets and blends have garnered praise for their alchemical, divinely intuitive, transmutative, transportive kinetic power.

The performance takes place in the context of Zurich Art Weekend 2023 and is part of Interventions on frequency – a performance series with chaos clay, Sicc Puppy, Lou Drago, Alexandra Sheherazade Salem, Göksu Kunak and other artists.

The series is co-curated by Antoine Simeão Schalk & Danniel Tostes in partnership with Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst.
