Inspired by Maria Thereza Alves’ installation Seeds of Change: New York – A Botany of Colonization
(2017) in the exhibition Potential Worlds 1: Planetary Memories we head out to take a closer look at various forms of natural life in the city, raising our awareness and expanding our understanding of the surroundings we pass by on a daily basis. Guided by the botanist Nicolas Küffer, an art historian and the scientist from Crowther Lab Simeon Max, this walk offers an insightful nature experience on various levels.
