Art for toddlers

Art for toddlers – Too young for the museum? Not at all!

As part of the national pilot project Lapurla, children aged eight to 18 months from the Zurich nursery Kita Regenbogen visit the Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst. Together, the nursery supervisors and art educators oversee the encounter with art at this very early age, so the youngest discover the multifaceted sensory world of contemporary art on regular visits to the museum. Aesthetic education and the promotion of creativity begin here, as the children's perceptiveness and self-efficacy are bolstered. Culture strengthens the personality – from the very beginning! This project is funded by the Migros Culture Percentage national initiative Lapurla and the Bern University of the Arts (HKB).
